New windows and doors improve comfort, cut energy bills and add long-term value to your home. Juniper Windows Austin pairs proven product lines with our own installing crews for lasting performance - and a price we put in writing.
1. Choose your installer
The unit is half the job - the install is the other half. Our own background-checked crews measure, set, seal and insulate every opening, and they know the lines we quote inside and out because they install them every week.
2. Select the right products
Compare styles, materials and glass packages side by side until the fit is right for your rooms, your budget and your goals. The product-line comparison below is the place to start.
3. Prepare your home for install
Before install day we walk you through a short checklist - furniture pulled back, treatments down, a clear path to each opening - so install day is watch-it-happen, not scramble.

Windows & Doors Before & After in Austin, TX
Photos tell the truth faster than adjectives. In Austin, windows and doors take a beating from July sun, spring hail, and the occasional cold snap that sends old frames creaking. Below are real project types we handle at Juniper Windows Austin, showing the problem, the work, and the result. We’re not showing you showroom shots. We’re showing you what actual replacements look like on actual Austin homes.
Recent Transformations
Single-Hung to Impact-Rated Double-Hung in Allandale

The original single-pane aluminum frames from the 1970s were sweating in winter and leaking cold air straight into the living room. We pulled them, reframed the openings for a clean reveal, and installed impact-rated glass, built to resist wind-borne debris without shattering. The result is a tighter thermal envelope and windows the homeowner can actually open with one hand.
Sagging Patio Door Swap in Circle C

The old aluminum slider had been sticking for years, and the track was so worn the door never fully sealed. In Circle C we see this constantly: afternoon sun cooks the west-facing frame until it bows. We replaced the whole unit with a Therma-Tru slider, added a low-profile sill, and reflashed the opening. The door now glides, and the AC bill stopped leaking out with the old gaps.
Hail-Damaged Window Replacement in Pflugerville

Spring hailstorms in the Pflugerville area had left three south-facing windows with shattered panes and cracked sashes. We replaced all three with PGT impact-rated units matched to the existing trim color, including new exterior stops and insulation. The homeowner said the rooms stayed noticeably cooler the following summer, and the new glass held up through the next storm season without a scratch.
Drafty French Door Replacement in Tarrytown

Original wood French doors in a 1940s Tarrytown home had warped so badly the stiles no longer met. Refinishing wasn’t going to fix the gap at the meeting rail, and the homeowners didn’t want to baby the doors every winter. We installed ES Windows French doors with factory-applied finish and multi-point locking hardware. The doors close flush, lock from top to bottom, and don’t leak air.
Fogged Glass and Failed Seals in Buda

Every window on the back of this Buda house had failed seals, so the glass was fogged between the panes. The frames were still square, so we did a glass-pack replacement, pulling the old insulated glass units and setting new CWS glass into the existing frames. The view cleared up, and the homeowner kept the original interior trim, which mattered in a house with custom millwork.
Sticking Side Door Replacement in Leander

The steel side door in this Leander garage had rusted at the bottom and the threshold was so deformed the door had to be shoulder-checked open. We pulled the old steel slab, squared the rough opening, and installed a ViewLux door with an adjustable sill that sits flat. The door opens with a finger now, and the new weatherstripping keeps dust and bugs out of the garage.
Want Results Like These?
Every one of these jobs started with a written price before any work started. That’s the rule, not the exception. If your Austin home has drafts, fogged glass, or doors that fight you, call (325) 420-1750 and describe what you’re seeing. Sean Mackey or one of our installers will tell you straight what it’ll take, and what it’ll cost, in writing, before you commit to anything. That’s how we’ve done it since 2001.
